Alison Krauss Lexington reviews
WNBA 1st timer...great, but misleading tickets!!
"I would go again in a heart beat, I had never been to a WNBA game. The game was amazing, these girls are tough, and much quicker paced in person than it seems on TV. Triple overtime was a thrill.
The crowd was so hyped & incredibly loud!! Sue Bird won the game for the Seattle Storm, Candace Parker had a solid game, and Jackson (Alison Krauss) fouled out with a technical foul & left the court. Of her own choosing, which I found kind of lousy sportsmanship.
About the venue, I was very disappointed with our seats. Ticketmaster's lay out of Key Arena for the event was somewhat misleading. During the WNBA games, they block off the upper level & only seat the lower level. I thought I was purchasing a seat lower than other buyers, when in reality all of the seats were around our height & CLOSER to the court. Hind sight tells me I could have bought a lower priced ticket & still had just as good of a view."
